Who am I?

I'm Chris Poyner, a 20-something systems engineer living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I fell in love with photography as a kid playing with my dad's 35mm film camera. This website's purpose is to witness my rediscovery of photography as an adult. I hate taking pictures of people, most shots you will find here will be of nature or architecture. If I can channel just a little bit of Ansel Adams in my life I will be satisfied.
